Drywall jobs in Edmonton for tapers, boarders, finishers, framers, painters and insulation installers — steady residential work across Edmonton, Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Beaumont, Leduc, Fort Saskatchewan, Morinville & Devon.
Emplastrum Drywall is a Edmonton-based residential contractor running four divisions — drywall, framing, painting and insulation — on new construction, renovations, basement developments, ceiling work and repairs across Edmonton, Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Beaumont, Leduc, Fort Saskatchewan, Morinville and Devon. As the job list grows, so does the crew. We're hiring tradespeople and apprentices across every division who want steady, local work and take pride in a clean, flat, paint-ready finish. Whether you've been taping for fifteen years, you frame steel stud, or you're starting out and want to learn the trade properly, we want to hear from you.
Most Edmonton drywall companies sub out everything but board. We run the trades in-house, which means the work carries through instead of stopping at the end of your scope.
Boarding, taping and mudding, and finish work to a flat, paint-ready wall on new construction, renovations and basement developments.
Wood and steel stud framing, acoustical and T-bar ceiling grid, plus removal and demolition ahead of the board crew.
Interior painting, ceilings and full repaints once the drywall work is closed out -- prep, prime and finish.
Batt, loose-fill and acoustic insulation plus vapour barrier -- the step that goes in before the board.
We hire at every stage — experienced tradespeople and hard-working apprentices who want to learn the trade properly. Open roles by division:
Boarders and installers hang and screw off new panel on framing. Tapers and mudders embed tape and build coats to a flat Level 4 or 5 finish. Texture techs match and spray existing wall and ceiling finishes. Framers set wood and steel stud and hang ceiling grid. Insulation installers place batt, blown and acoustic product and seal vapour barrier. Painters prime and paint once drywall work is complete. Labourers and apprentices support the crew, keep the job clean, and learn the trade hands-on.
We take on individual tradespeople and established crews. If you run a boarding, taping, framing, insulation or painting crew and you're looking for a steady stream of residential work in the Edmonton area instead of chasing the next job, tell us your crew size and what you take on — we'll follow up about subtrade work directly.
Select Established crew / subtrade in the form below and we'll route you to the right conversation.
We'd rather promote a finisher who knows our standard than hire a stranger into it. As the divisions grow, the crew leads come from inside.

All four — drywall, framing, painting and insulation. Pick your division in the form and tell us your trade. If you work across more than one, say so in your message; crossover is genuinely useful to us.
Every job is local — across Edmonton, Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Beaumont, Leduc, Fort Saskatchewan, Morinville or Devon. No long-distance travel or out-of-town postings.
A mix of new construction, home renovations, basement developments, legal suites, ceiling and repair work, insulation and interior painting — residential jobs across the Edmonton area.
Tell us what you have in your application. Experienced tradespeople usually bring their own hand tools; apprentices and labourers are not expected to arrive fully kitted. Reliable transport to site helps.
Both. Whether you're one taper looking for steady work or you run an established boarding, framing, insulation or finishing crew, select the option that fits in the form and we'll follow up accordingly.
Yes — apprentice to tradesperson to lead hand to foreman, and estimating or project management beyond that. As the divisions grow we promote from inside wherever we can.
